On Nov 4th Vote For The "Block Obama"

Treacherous Records recording artist Crooked I is preparing to drop the anticipated sequel to his popular "Block Obama" mixtape. "Block Obama II" is not your average mixtape though, it's a digital E.P. available for purchase. On November 4th (Election Day), fans will be able to officially download a copy of this project from retailers such as iTunes, Amazon and Napster. Crooked I is clearly taking advantage of his recent digital distribution deal with the Universal Music Group's INgrooves music label. Fans will remember that Crooked I's first release through INgrooves was his epic single "Dream Big" featuring none-other-than Akon. The "Block Obama II" mixtape features brand new music from Crooked I, including left-over cuts from his upcoming debut album "B.O.S.S. (Beginning of Something Serious)". Because this project is being labeled as an "E.P.", it wouldn't be a stretch to assume the long awaited album is right around the corner. Expect a full review of "Block Obama II" when it drops this November.

Omar Cruz Takes It "To The Top"

Joe Budden Enters The "Slaughterhouse"

After making fans wait for nearly four hours (and perhaps longer) Joe Budden finally dropped his new track "Slaughterhouse (Remix)" last night. The track was to originally appear on DJ Green Lantern's radio show last night, but plans changed and the track was scheduled for a 8:00PM release on Joe Budden's official website. Unfortunately, the track did not actually drop until after midnight due to some last minute changes. This epic track is produced by Scram Jones and features appearances by Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Royce The 5'9 and Nino Bless. You can imagine that with a line up like that, fans were counting every second until the track's release. In fact, it was the fan forum's biggest night ever with 286 users logged in. The track is one of many that will appear on Budden's upcoming release "Halfway House" which will be available online 10/28/08.
